 | Extreme Creations is the brain child of master craftsman Ben Shaw, who from a garage on Sydney's Northern Beaches in 1998, saw the potential for an engineering company specialising in Streetfighters and highly modified motorcycles. Ben already had plenty of experience in one off creations from his training as a qualified Engineering Patternmaker having spent the first 10 years of his working life in the Vacuum forming (Plastics) industry. Ben's passion stemmed from fabricating Custom one off parts for just about anything (Bikes, Cars, Boats, etc...) for family and friends, so going into business for himself seemed a natural progression with motorbikes as his main point of focus based on his passion and interest for all things two wheeled! |
After two years of word of mouth recommendations, Extreme Creations grew rapidly enough to warrant larger, fully equipped premises being the current location in Brookvale, Sydney NSW. Extreme Creations hasn't stopped growing & they have gathered many valued repeat customers and ultimately, friends.  | Ben saw a potential to expand the product range available for custom bike conversions and a need to produce aesthetically pleasing custom parts that are not available off the shelf. As a result Ben decided to make an investment for the future and teamed up with his long time and valued friend Pete to manufacture their own brand of off the shelf parts and offer a service to produce 1 off custom components for their customers. |
| Ben and Pete looked in to virtually all brands of CNC Machine tools during their search for the one that best suited them. Some had the accuracy but not the power, some the power but not the accuracy and others had the accuracy and power but were way too expensive. They discovered the precision built USA Manufactured Fyrer brand at National Manufacturing Week 2008 being exhibited on our stand. When they looked at the accuacy and power specifications of the Fryer they fitted their criteria perfectly and after hearing the price their decision was virtually made on the spot. |  |
 | In December 2008 Akela Australia completed the installation of a Fryer MC-15 Machining Centre with a 4th Axis rotary table at Extreme Creations facility in Brookvale. The machine package included VX End to End Cad Cam and has given Ben and his team a perfect combination of products to allow them to produce virtually any shape they can dream up. The controller on the machine is equipped with a 2GB part storage memory and simple file transfer via an inexpensive thumb drive which allows them to produce highly intricate 3D toolpaths without the need for DNC.
